Olli Jaatinen, this lavishly presented book looks at the magic of 3D
photography, It was produced as part of a project by the Mikkeli
Photographic Centre which was founded in 1989 and focuses on exhibitions
by contemporary Finnish art photographers.
The book is intended to be an
artistic look at stereo photography, specifically from a Finnish
perspective. It contains many high quality photographic 3D images,
printed on heavyweight paper, which can be viewed using the
cross-eyed method (also called 'free-viewing).
The first half of the book is written in Finnish,
whilst the second half is in English. It talks of famous Finnish stereo
photographers and outlines the history of stereo photography, touching
on making stereoscopic images.
